Hey Scotty, got a 97 Toyota Celica ST auto here.
I've got quite a harsh steering wheel vibration vibration, shakes harshly when idling under 1k rpms but smooths out when driving/past 1k rpm. I've been through just about everything to diagnose it, from cleaning the fuel system, changing the spark plugs, replacing the IAC, and all the mounts seem fine. Just wanted to ask to see if you'd know something about the cause of this type of vibration in this car?

I've seen that tons of times a lot of times. It's a worn torque converter. If you have an automatic transmission. My celica does the same thing. But of course it can be worn motor mounts or transmission mounts too
