What does everyone think of a 1999 Silverado 2500, 105,000 miles. It IS at a car lot, so I am not trusting the word of a dealer. It looks great, and does run great. Has anyone had the same vehicle? (Definitely wouldn’t pay over 8K for it)

Agree with @mountainmanjoe definitely could be a good work/ beat around truck. Obviously wouldn’t daily drive it. Get it checked out throughly. I had a 1992 f250 for a few yrs and that’s still one of the best trucks I’ve owned. If it checks out ok I’d go ahead and change all fluids and replace all rubber components.
Anything made before 2006 is better than what you can get today. Have it checked out. Could be a keeper.
Make sure the mileage is legit and your mechanic checks it out.
