New Honda Accord vs. Toyota Camry

Hi guys and Scotty, I wanted to ask the "ultimate question": which is the best (overall) and most comfortable car between the honda accord and the toyota camry? As I've read everywhere, accord is roomier, some guys said it has more comfortable seats but I've also read that in some generations "roles were reversed"... and considering that toyota hasn't produced a new gen camry yet, would be the model year 2025 the one to compare to the current accord?

Drivetrain-wise, a naturally aspirated Toyota Camry would probably be the most reliable. If Honda still made naturally aspirated gas driven Accord's 4 cylinder Accord's with the K-Series engine, the edge would go to them. Alas, it seems Honda has gone turbo and/or hybrid.

Comfort-wise, IMHO, the Accord usually has better styling and driving dynamics.

Just on paper and pictures, the 2025 Camry looks to be a carryover from the previous generation, just with minor styling revisions on the exterior, and a more modern interior.

Overall, the Camry probably has an edge. For me personally, I really like how Honda does their interior, so I would go Accord.

Toyota's hybrid program has been stellar. That favors them if buying Hybrid.

The gas only versions of Camry & Accord are solid, but I'd still choose a non-turbo, naturally aspirated Toyota Camry.

well, I'm also keen to read Master Scotty's opinion about that; all I know, is that in the old times they may have been neck to neck but now the two big corporations have taken different roads

According to edmunds.com Toyota plans to introduce the all-new, redesigned, 9th generation 2025 Camry in the Spring of 2024.

You can compare the 2025 Camry and Accord here or select different years:
