i own a 2006 bmw e60 5 series and it blows cold but not cold enough around 70 and on the low pressure fitting and i checked it then saw it was full with refrigerant so i’m not sure if it’s the condenser/ac compressor, any motor, or any sensor. cabin filters have been replaced recently.
So many things can affect AC performance but generally either it's not full of refrigerant which you would need to check the high and low pressure is with it running or do like I do I just evacuate the entire system then fill it up with a factory load and pray that fixes it. Because if not it could be the compressor going out the condenser going out the cooling fans not working a zillion things and on BMWs realize it's all computer running even the computer system can go whack into that
