I have an '08 Civic Si that runs perfectly, except the air conditioning sometimes blows warm air. 80% of the time the AC does great, but when it doesn't it's awful. I was driving on the freeway when it was warm the other day, and I hit a pothole that jolted my car and suddenly the AC turned SUPER cold. It was almost like something got knocked loose.
Mechanic a year ago said it was the compressor, but that doesn't seem to make sense to me if a jolt on the highway got it working. Any ideas?
Thank you.

If freon is ok, I have no clue why a bump would correct a issue. Unless there is a wire shorting to composer. If you can plug in compressor and clean terminal? Maybe there is issue with contact. Motor off cold.
