My 2005 Acura RL had sat a couple weeks without starting. Put the batter charger on and charged the battery. Car started but horn beeps as if in panic mode. Also the power seats, power locks gas cap release etc are not functional. The key fobs, with fresh batteries, will not unlock car either. Not sure what to start looking at. Any help?
Your battery, charged or not, is toast. Get it load tested.
Load tested and battery is fine.
My battery did something very similar after coming back from a 3 week trip.
As @doc said, get it load tested.
Load test said battery was good. Battery is 1 year old
Try putting in a known good battery & start the car. If it still acts funny, find a guy with an Acura dealer level scan tool to check for any codes, or if the security system is malfunctioning.
