Scotty, I know you have recommended older models of the Acura RDX. Thoughts on the 2016 model? Looking at 2016 with 70k miles from private party for 18k.
My parents have a 15 model with 28K miles on it, it’s given them trouble free service. Just have a quality mechanic check it out BEFORE you buy it. I would try to get the one you’re looking at for $15K.
We currently own 2nd Gen (2013-2018) RDXs, one is a 2013 with about 83k miles and the other is a 2016 with about 31k miles, and can say that both have been relatively trouble-free so far. We have had minor inconveniences with both, in our 2013 we've had headlight issues, and in our 2016 the center console latch broke, but mechanically there's been absolutely no issues with both. Being that the one you're looking at is at 70k miles, make sure the previous owner has replaced the transmission fluid at the correct intervals (should've been at least twice), and of course, have a reputable mechanic take a look at it before buying it.
