Hi, what are your thoughts on adding water to a car battery. I listen to old radio shows and learned they used to do this back in the day.

When dinosaurs roamed the Earth, you added water to your battery because it evaporated away and dried out.
is your battery low on water? Does it even have somewhere to add it?
Most batteries these days are called "maintenance free". they're (over)filled for life and sealed shut. Modern charging systems don't get the battery hot enough to dry out.
