[Solved] Advice on a car for sale

Hey Scotty! My manager's father can't drive anymore so he is selling his car.

It's a 2006 Sonata V6 with 55,000 miles. It has a clean title, and it has 1 owner.

Currently, the A/C is blowing, but hot (which I am worried about since I live in Miami, FL).

I test-drove it and felt that it was a good ride, the engine and transmission felt firm. My manager had mentioned to me that it needs new struts, which I realized from driving it. (No check engine lights were shown)

It also has an oil leak that can be noticed after driving it, with smoke coming from the exhaust manifold. I'm not sure if it's from the engine or power steering, because both were topped off correctly.

He also said he wants to get rid of it soon because it is taking up space on his driveway, and he is selling it for $900.

I also attached the pictures below.

Would this be a good buy?

Thanks so much for all you do!

Despite being built better back then than they are today an old Hyundai would generally not be considered a good choice - but for $900 if it runs and drives, what the heck, if it lasts just a year you're ahead of the game.

You just don't want to be trapped into getting the car for next to nothing and then having to put big money into repairs, so I'd have a good mechanic check it out before purchase so you know what you're getting into.
