Aftermarket remote starter

Hey Scotty, I have a 2017 Camry SE with 36,000 miles on it. I'm the second owner, and the original owner had an aftermarket remote starter installed at a Toyota dealership. Do you think I should be worried about electrical issues later on, or is it fine since the installation was done by people that understand the wiring of the car?

That is a tough one. Just because they are the dealer doesn't mean they know what they are doing. If you're not having any problems at the moment I would just live with it.

I agree with @Jpparisio . At least you know who installed it just in case something goes wrong, you can have them remove it.

it's already there so leave it. Removing it will double your risk of problems.

+1 for leaving it.  If everything is working correctly, it is most likely just fine.  But something could go wrong in the process of taking it off.
