Hallo,
i am drivin a volvo v50 1.6d 2008 and i changed the alternator 2 weeks ago but this one is giving more electricity to the battery as usual.
is it possible that this alternator can cause high fuel consume on my car?

The new alternator, if anything, would give you a TINY boost in fuel mileage (fresh bearings have less drag on the engine.) If you are getting noticeably poorer mileage, it's the result of something else.
