Universal joints for Lexus IS 250 AWD?

Hello,

I'm wondering if anyone has changed the u-joints on a Lexus IS 250 / 350 AWD? I've searched online and can't find an answer and seems that the driveshaft must be changed entirely instead to just replacing the joints... :/

Any information will be appreciated.

Thanks.

yeah the evil swines are making it so the u-joints are built in the factory and aren't replaceable a true pro at a drive shaft shop could rebalance and replace them but unfortunately almost all those shops have gone out of business and you can't find one anymore

Hello Scotty,

Is it normal for an output shaft to move when touched? While replacing the old drive shaft with a new one (Dorman), I pushed the output shaft with my finger just to see and if moved... I'm wondering if this is the reason of the vibration I'm experiencing?

Thanks for your videos and advise.
