Hey Scotty! The alternator went out on my 2002 Camry 2.4L. It's got 161,000 miles on it and the tranny is shifting a little rough but still runs, I don't plan to keep the car for another 4 years, do you think I should get a remanufactured alternator? What are good brands for remanufactured ones? Thanks!
go to rockauto.com and get yourself an alternator. get denso brand since they make oem toytota parts. (denso makes the parts for toyota anyway). i just did an alternator replacement a few weeks ago with a 2010 corolla.

I've bought one before and it was fine. Just make sure it comes with a year warranty.
