Hey Scotty, are aluminum radiators worth spending the money on or should I just stay with plastic? Hello from Chesterville, Canada!

I would stick with the plastic radiator with aluminum core. I’ve driven over 600,000 miles over my quarter century of driving and always used the plastic radiator with aluminum core. I usually stick with a more premium version (usually OEM) and I’ve had good luck with them.
I once bought 2 aftermarket all metal radiators to put in my truck and both leaked after 15,000 miles of use. I also paid 5x the price of a plastic one - never again! The plastic one lasted far longer than those particular metal ones. So metal ones are not all they are cracked up to be, especially if the manufacturer did not have good quality control.
