- I have a 2019 mitsubishi outlander, it has 240,000 miles and never had any issues beside changing my alternator. I delivere newspaper papers so alot of stop and go driving. Car is still driving like a dream and I change my oil every 10,000 miles. I want to change my transmission fluid but worried that changing it might do more harm than good. I have no transmission issues at the time. I respect your option.

Please see under our FAQ.

You should be changing your engine oil (and filter) every 5,000 miles or once a year whichever comes first.
