Which rotors should I buy for my 30 yr old Volvo?

Anyone had any experience with these brands of rotors: Centric, Dynamic Friction, FVP, Bendix?

Need new rear rotors on a 1993 Volvo 960 sedan. I know Scotty says not to go too cheap on them because they can warp easily. Im looking at rockauto and these are the brands available to me (in order of price lowest to highest): Centric, Dynamic Friction, FVP, & Bendix, followed by two other brands which I know for sure are good brands but are a bit more.

Mod Chuck Tobias says that Centric and Bendix can be ok in a reply to the post linked below, but I'm wondering if anyone here has had any experience with those brands.

I currently have Centric rotors on the rear of my 1997 Saab and they've been fine, no issues.

I have used Centric before and been happy with them. They are spoken of highly in other places as well.

I think the brake pad brand is more important, I have been using Akebono for years and never warped a rotor with them.

Scotty also recommends them.

yeah I'm putting akebono pads on

Just realized there is one more that is even cheaper, but it's marked as "economy" instead of "daily driver"

yeah those are the ones to stay away from. Get daily driver or above.

Yeah I generally stay away from anything marked economy when looking on rockauto which is why I didn’t post it originally. But if they’re owned by advance auto would it be that bad?

I don't have time to experiment, but try it and let us know how it goes.

hmmm maybe I will, it's a second car anyway

sorry duplicate post. accidently double-clicked the post button. mods feel free to delete this one if there are no answers yet. I tried but couldn't find the delete button. I know I've done it before...

seems like the edit/delete buttons disappear a few minutes after posting. So mods, maybe leave this up so Scotty sees it and maybe notifies his website team.

The two posts have been merged.

International (API) and they're owned by advance auto parts.

Website team here. You have 10 minutes to edit/delete your post which should be plenty of time. After that you need to request deletion from a moderator.
