I had a pick up set 10 days ago to sell my car to Carvana. Took a half day off from work for pick up which is today. Looked online and Carvana says my offer has expired. No email notification.
At the moment waiting to speak or text with someone.
Anyone else having issues selling to Carvana?
thanks
Generally, when any one hears the word "convenience" at the top of the sales pitch, it's going to be a bad deal for the seller (of an item for resale) and the buyer of said item.
I personally wouldn't use Carvana because first off they don't make cars they just sell them so they probably have little to no experience with the cars they are selling. Second, it's meant to be an easy way to buy a car right? Well, I don't get any good feelings about making a several thousand dollar purchase from the comfort of my couch, something just isn't right about being able to click and spend thousands of dollars on a car I've never looked at or driven it makes it to easy to make a bad decision.
If possible just find a way to sell to a dealer you might even get a better deal, I wouldn't sell to a corporation who's only goal is to make things "easier"
A friend of mine just sold a car to Carvana and everything went perfectly, he was very impressed and he got a very good price for it too
Carvana is a great place to sell a car, but not buying a car.
I just did a little research. A used 2020 RAV4 XLE is listed $7000 more than a brand new 2021 RAV4 XLE. When you go with the Toyota dealership, you might even get free oil change for the first 2 years and a lifetime warrantly. Why still purchase from Carvana?
I recently sold my lease vehicle a 2019 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo for $31,100 at CarMax. Did a appraisal online the offer is good for 7 days it was a quick and smooth transaction. Carvana only offered me $29,800 I actually had $8200 in equity had only 12,000 miles on it. I would never recommend buying a car from CarMax or Carvana to be honest their prices are to high.
