Hey Scotty!
Currently on the used market for a fun hatchback to daily and considering a USED 2019 Hyundai Veloster Turbo (Manual) with 30,000mi on it (Dealership). Do these types of cars have any major problems? I plan to keep the car for a long time and I know Hyundai has had reliability issues in its past.
Run away, those are endless money pits abd the fact that it is turbocharged will make it even worse.
I know turbo charged engines don't last as long as naturally aspirated ones, the only reason I was considering was because it is a top trim and the deal looks enticing. But I have been having my doubts which should speak volumes. Thanks.
The 2013 model seems to have the worst problem year but ...2019...it may be too soon to tell what problem lies ahead of it.
Heres the DATA on it then you decide.....

The car is a recent year so trying to guess major issues would be just speculation. This helps though, thanks!
2019 already has a report of engine failure, at just 4k miles!
