Yes, They still made the previas until discontinuation in 2019, However it was only sold in australia, japan, middle east, taiwan, east asia and they came with 4 cylinder engines and v6 engines and they had hybrid systems.

To me it seems like a decently reliable van.

The 3rd gen Previa is based on the Toyota New MC platform,

the same platform as the pre-2019 Corolla and as the pre-2018 RAV4

The 3.5L V6 engine on those is pretty much perfect, one of the best engines out there.

So it shares many of it's internals with the best cars out there.

Although the 2.4L engine did have excessive engine oil consumption issues only in the first years of production, it often came with a SUPER-CVT-i transmission. These K1XX units have a negative reputation, but they aren't that bad.

The V6 Previa can be an excellent van,

the Hybrid Previa is as good as hybrids get,

but the 2.4L Previa seems quite weak, but first I'd ask local mechanics for their opinion on the matter, maybe in recent years this powertrain became not as bad as this powertrain used to be.

EDIT: Speaking of cars that were only sold in very specific markets, in places like Australia and New Zealand they have an interesting selection of 7 seaters including things like the ISUZU MU-X. The MU-X seems to me like the perfect 7 seater and I'm sad I can't get it here in my place in the Mid-east, here the only affordable 7 seater here is the Peugeot 5008. (Although it's also quite a good car, just not as good as the Japanese truck based ones) 🙁
