In a recent video (I think), you mentioned a customer that had an old V6 Toyota that had the head gasket replaced for free even after many years. I'd heard that and asked a local Dallas dealership if Toyota would still honor it and they told me the recall ended several years ago and they don't honor it anymore. My 4Runner had about 210,000 miles on it when the head gasket finally blew, which is much longer than many other unfortunate customers.
Well it all depends if it was a recall because recalls last forever while voluntary repairs do not. For example many Honda odysseys had bad automatic transmissions but it was not a federal recall it was a voluntary repair by Honda and after a certain age and mileage Honda also does not fix those transmissions free anymore
