Do you recommend doing the drain and fill method? I know repeating 3-4 times replaces most of the fluid. Or do recommend pulling the transmission cooler line off and adding new fluid until bright red fluid is coming out?

Can you provide more information please? Miles on the transmission? Current fluid condition?
For most people, most of the time, a simple drain and refill is all you need. And change the filter if there is one. See the FAQ for more info.
