Hey Scotty, how are you doing! I own a 2010 BMW 320i (80,000 miles) with a ZF automatic transmission. Last year I detected some transmission fluid mixed in my coolant which caused some rough shifts. The transmission fluid cooler has been replaced. I changed the transmission fluid (without flushing) and flushed the cooling system. After some time, the transmission started to shift normally back again. Then, out of nowhere it went back to shifting rough. A mechanic performed a transmission reset using his scan tool which fixed the issue. Now months later, it went back to jerking and rough shifting (not always) even after resetting the transmission for a second time. What may be wrong? Thanks for helping!
