I own an automatic 2002 Honda Accord v6 with 177,178 miles and my check engine light recently came on. I don't have my own scan tool so I went to Autozone to get it checked out and the codes were P0304, P1399, P0305, P0306, and P0300. The report they gave me says the most likely solution is to replace the EGR valve and clean the ports. I was just wondering if this report is trustworthy and if I should clean or buy a new EGR valve or not. Thank you!
Kaizen has a point that all the misfires are at the front.
That could mean Bank 2 catalytic converter is obstructed. or the bank 2 camshaft is out of time.
You've got a lot of miles. Might not be a bad idea to have the valves adjusted and clean out the egr passages.

I freakin’ hate the AutoZone scan tool. It’s not a normal scan tool. I hate it so much that I started going to O’Reilly to use their scan tool.
Don’t get me wrong, I think the data it provides may*** be useful. And it is nice they print it out for you. At the same time, sometimes I just want a simple code and not a print out.
With that said, I recommend using the print out as a basis. Look up the codes yourself for your specific car. Even though the problem may manifest as one code or another, the problem can be upstream or downstream from where the code is manifesting.
As to the codes specifically. They seem to be misfire codes, specifically cylinder 4,5, and 6. I believe that is one side of cylinders. With that many misfires, methinks it is interelated to something upstream or downstream from those cylinders.
what do you mean by "one side of cylinders"?
I assume from the codes, the engine is a V6. And since it is cylinder 4,5,6, that is one side of cylinders. The other side would be 1,2,3. I know there is probably a more technical name for the sides of cylinders.
One side of a cylinder has the intake port. The other has exhaust port.
Maybe you're referring to sides of the engine, or as they're called in 'V' engines ... "banks"
And you're right. His misfires are on bank 2.
Yes, sides of the engine. Banks! That’s it.
