Scotty, I've watched ur videos about changing batteries and how u should never disconnect it while car is running and how u should use that obd keep memory device to avoid memory loss, but what if in my country, we don't have that kinda device, i didn't look it up, but what if it doesn't exist here, is there an alternative?
It’s a $20 dongle on Amazon. almost any garage should have one…
If you car is a simple older car then you probably don’t need the special tool.
In my country we can't buy stuff on amazon and have it delivered, but i'll check the local stores, but i am not so sure i'd find one
Have you tried Aliexpress? Or EBay?…
Amazon isn’t the only choice…
Same, here u can't buy something online with a different currency and have it delivered
May I ask what country is that?
What's the make and model of your car? As @Dan said, you might not need it at all.
You can also try this method:
Not for a specific car, in general i mean
So how can i know whether a particular car requires that kinda device?
What is your car model? If it's something like a Hyundai Accent then you probably do not need it
Check the user manual and do some Google research on any car.
Got it, thank u guys so much
If you connect another battery to the cables before you take the bad one out, you won't lose your settings.
Cristal clear
Thanks
