Scotty,
I have a 2012 Nissan Xterra 90K miles, and I recently replaced battery and alternator. However, it still does not charge correctly. When car is running, voltage is 13 (same reading prior to changing battery and alternator). what should be the next step?

You might have an issue with the wiring between the battery and alternator.
