Scotty, I'm wanting to purchase a good beginner's bike. Currently, I'm looking at the Kawasaki Ninja 500R, the Suzuki Katana 600, and the Honda CBR 500R. Which do you recommend? Thanks!

All of those could be reasonable beginner motorcycles - if they fit in terms of seat height, etc. I'd pick the Honda
But more important would be to take the Motorcycle Safety Foundation course - they are offered all around the country at reasonable costs, and they PROVIDE the motorcycle.
