Best used small truck that can plow(rarely)?

Is there a small truck that can handle occasionally plowing snow for a .2 mile driveway? Bonus if I could buy slightly used, 2-3 years old with low to average mileage.

Would a new Tacoma or Ranger be suitable for this? Is there any sense of how reliable the new models are? Are any other makes worth checking out? Are any SUV's an option?

Fortunately, my neighbor currently does the plowing but he is 80 years old. He is the type to never stop doing his own work, even if I get a plow. But I can at least start helping and give him the option to stop.

I would never try it with my 2001 Ford Ranger, 2L 4cyl, manual, with 230K miles, even if the rear suspension didn't just rust out. My everyday driver is a 2017 Ford Escape w/ 2.0L turbo. After reading some posts here I shouldn't keep it after the powertrain warranty runs out at 60K(currently at 46K) due to coolant leaking in the cylinders.

It would be nice to replace the Escape with a small truck to handle my roundtrip work commute of 51 miles daily that can do the occasional plowing in the Philadelphia suburbs. It would also be nice to be able to haul the occasional load of dirt, mulch, or stone. My private portion of the driveway is gravel and requires annual maintenance.

Don't use a Ranger. Compact pickups won't make good plows.
