Hi scotty
I have a 2007 mazda cx7 with the 2.3L turbo charged mzr engine in it. Im buring oil like crazy.
After tr he engine reaches op temp it cheeches out so much smoke when i hit 40 or 60 mph.
Do you think the oil control rings are the issue or is the cartridge shot and i should just get a new cart.

It is the classic symptom of turbocharger failure. Is your intake plumbing and intercooler loaded up with oil? Engine compression OK?
