2004 Honda CRV 170k miles. Automatic
Recently got it for 300 bucks.
They said it overheated one day. And then parked it. Car came with an unopened bottle of blue devil. They thought you had to drain the cooling system to add it. It already had water so I added it. Started it up and drove it 30 mins home. Temp stayed under half. They said would overheat in 5-10mins but never did.
Anyways issues I'm having is super high idle at like 2500 3k rpms only codes I see are for the misfires so not sure why such high idle
Misfire code for every cylinder. It is the 4 cylinder k24
Engine light would blink in and out every few mins when driving. Would come on then go away right away usually only came on for a split second when accelerating.
I do notice a lot of blowby. Could high idle cause more blowby than usual?
Hoping I scored on a good deal.
Appreciate your help
Head gasket could be blown due to overheating. ("Blue Devil" is snake oil that is temporary at best, may not work at all, and could even clog up the cooling system.)
Test compression and for exhaust gases in the coolant.

Super high idle went away idles normal
Well that's good. You can find troubleshooting information for misfires in the site FAQ. Excess blowby is usually caused by worn rings but if you're seeing it in places like the oil filler check your PCV valve to see if it's clogged.
@chucktobias I appreciate your help
As far as the compression readings are they good. I was thinking the wet test is super high indicating very worn out piston rings. I heard these engines are bullet proof. Could it still last a while like this?
If the wet test is high that does indicate worn rings. High compression can be the result of carbon buildup. I don't know where you heard that those engines are "bulletproof" but that one is over two decades old with relatively high miles, plenty of time for abuse, so there could be anything wrong with it. There is no way to predict how long it will last.
