Bought a used 2011 versa that randomly dropped into idle

Bought this 2011 Nissan Versa, 118200km, automatic (not CVT) a few weeks ago from a private seller who I suspect works for a dealership. He says the car was sitting in a driveway for about 3 years unused before he got it. Got all the fluids changed, new spark plugs, checked the pcv valve, put in a full tank of fresh gas with a bottle of cleaner and changed the cabin air filter which I think was original (it was so very, very bad). Drove 200km, and randomly the car would drop into idle and stay there. The only way to make it stop was turn it off and back on, sometimes this worked. Brought it back to the seller and mechanic who safetied it. Codes P0507 and P0609 came up, seller takes it to another mechanic and returns it with a new ECM, new throttle body and the remote starter disconnected that they had installed. Car running fine for now at 7L/100km efficiency. This concludes the history/

I strongly suspect the car was hit at some point (and never reported) as there are dents around the rear passenger wheel and the right rocker board is held on with tap bolts. Hood is not aligned perfectly on the right, there are small dents at 2 inch intervals above the windows on both sides and the right headlight had the wrong colour bulbs. Frame looks straight.

I can send pictures if you need them.

1.When driving straight at low speed if I turn left or right from center, there is a clunk from underneath me. There is no unusual movement, just a clunk when turning off of center. I think its coming from the forward suspension. Is this an issue or normal electric power steering noise?

2.Could the aftermarket remote starter have scrambled the ECM or do I need to check something else? It is still disconnected.

3.Would love to change the drum brakes to rotor but cannot find a kit. Do you know where I can get them or better to just leave them on?

4.Anything else you think I should check? Is the car safe for my 9 week old given the information above?

I also plan to paint the brakes in the future to prevent rust, will this prolong the life of my brakes?

You are the best and all your haters should buy Audis

Well an aftermarket remote starter could have done that I would not connected back in there's no saying what could have happened and when you get a used car your gambling with anything that's aftermarket. I'd leave it off and see how it goes now if it goes fine don't put that back on and pray there's no other problems. Realize Nissan products have problems they age even if they didn't get anorexic things I'm not a fan of them

So no worry about the clunking noise when I turn left or right from center at low speed? Its just electric power steering?
