- I replaced the front brake pads and rotors on my 2013 f150 with Akebono pads and Napa rotors. I immediately experienced shudder when braking. I had the rotors turned which seemed to help but did not completely go away. I did not have this problem before I touched the front brakes. I lubed the slide pins and was able to compress the calipers without issue. Any help would be appreciated.

One of both of the new rotors may be warped. (The quality of aftermarket and even some OEM parts has been abysmal in recent years.) Check rotor runout using a dial indicator.
