Brake noise

hey Scotty I have a 2011 Kia Soul just put new rotors and brake pads but now every time I turn is sounds like it’s grinding but when I’m going straight you can here like a ticking noise what could that possibly be

Some pads are noisy, because of the nature of the specific model or brand of pads. Cheaper pads are more likely to do this.

Additionally, if the rotors weren't cleaned with a bit of brake kleen, there might a bit of additional friction.

Could be something else. Worn CV axle or even a wheel bearing can grind when cornering.
