Good morning, Sir.
I have a 2011 Nissan Armada SL with 158k miles and an automatic transmission. I recently replaced the clockspring and immediately after, I test-drove it and the front passenger side brake slowly started engaging until I couldn't drive it and had to tow it home. Since then I have replaced the brake lines, pads & rotors, front calipers, flushed the lines, and the brake fluid pressure sensors. Could you tell me what my problem is? Is it the brake booster, master cylinder, or abs module? They all seem to work fine but clearly, something is wrong. Thanks for any advice you can give.
Here's the thing. If you replace the clock spring, you have to reset the computer system. That has to do with anti-lock brakes, traction control all that stuff. If it's not reset, the ABS might start actuating the brakes. If all this happened immediately after putting a clock spring in, I would assume you either got a poorly made clock spring, it was installed wrong, or it wasn't reprogrammed like it's supposed to be
