My neighbor just got a brand new 2021 Toyota corolla se hatchback, it has only a couple hundred miles on it. When should he change his oil for the first time, and what kind should he use?

There's no longer break-in oil in vehicles. Get 2 free ones on Toyota. I've heard some dealers won't change until 10k miles. We just got our new Corolla and plan to do oil changes every 5k miles. Use the oil that's recommended in the owners manual.
