I have a friend with a 2001 Buick regal. On occasion the car will turn over then will die, been happening more frequently. He replaced the upstream oxygen sensor 6 months ago and it was faulty mechanic put a new one in a week later he and thinks it may be faulty again. Should we replace it again with OEM or look into fuel pump or intake issues.

If you don't have a check engine light/trouble code telling you the oxygen sensor is bad I would look elsewhere.
