Scotty, I got a 2000 Mercury Grand Marquis automatic with 120000 miles for 3 grand in total from a dealership. A week after purchase, the car gets bumpy when driving between 40 to 55 mph. It's inconsistent because some rides are completely smooth. Could this be an alignment issue or something to do with the transmission?

tell the guys at the dealership. Have them check out the wheels.
