Has anyone experienced a burning smell when outside your vehicle after driving in heavy/deep snow? Is this normal or is there something I need to check on?

were you spinning your wheels? Hot tires will smell bad.

I had spun them. But this smell persisted for a couple days after the snow was gone. Drove about 20 miles on dry pavement and still made a smell after I parked and got out. This was a lot of snow, driving on I-20 for hours. I would have to knock it out of the wheel wells every time I stopped at a gas station.
