Buying A Used 2013 Ford Fusion

Hey Scotty, I am trying to buy a 2013 Ford Fusion with 104K miles from a private party. No trouble codes appeared, trustful people who I have connections with, and the only problem is the transmission shifts slow. I don't believe the fluids been changed before and I learned that Ford has an adaptive learning system in the computer of those cars. He's asking $6800, and I think i want it to be my next car. Do you know any problems with these cars? I have mostly heard they are reliable and last a long time.

which engine?

The Ford Fusion is known for its premature transmission problems and if its an Ecoboost 1.5 or 2.0 motor I wouldn't buy one. Check out the Used Car Buying Guide below for more information on buying cars.
