Buying a used Toyota

Hey! I am looking to buy a new-to-me car after having terrible luck with a 2015 Ford Edge and Flexplate issues. I am looking into a 2013 Toyota Camry, with 133k miles on it. It’s lifted for $10,500 from a dealer near me. How many miles are too many on a Toyota? Would you recommend buying a higher mile car? Any information is appreciated!

Toyotas are usually good up to 300,000 miles. I would say my limit would be 250,000 miles unless it's a steal. Mileage isn't always the best indicator of vehicle wear. A car driven on the highway with 250,000 miles can be better than one used in the city for 150,000 in stop-start traffic. Vehicle record history is very useful if you can access the CarFax report, but even those aren't always 100% right. Always check the fluids, tires, panel gaps, and undercarriage and take it for a test drive before buying.
