There is a 2014 Lexus IS250 for sale at one of my local dealerships. The car has 104,000 miles on it. Should I get it with that high of mileage if I’m trying to buy a reliable car that will last me a while without having major issues? And are Lexus parts insanely expensive if anything happens to it?
And remember, just because it's a Lexus or Toyota, if somebody neglected oil changes, ran it over curbs or into other cars it could be a very damaged vehicle. Get YOUR mechanic to check it out.

The other issue: inner tire wear present on many IS’s and resulting in frequent tire changes.

I would personally stay away from this model, especially the direct injection-only IS250.
- Yes
- Not insane but some parts are more expensive than your average Toyota
