Hi Scotty,
Currently have a 2003 Lexus RX300 and I’m looking to buy a newer Toyota.. i’m debating between newer 2015-2018 models of Carolla and Camry. I was wondering which one you would recommend and if certain model years are better than others?
My wife has a 2015 Camry XLE with the 4 cylinder engine. We love it. 76k miles and zero problems. I would easily recommend it to anyone.
The Camry is going to be bigger and a bit nicer inside than the Corolla. Both are good cars.
Depends what you need it for.
Need an Point A to Point B car? Tight parking in your city? Driving mostly with the confines of tight city streets? Get the Corolla.
have more room to drive? Long road trips? Get the Camry.
I would get the Camry from 2015-2017 those are great cars. I have a friend with a 2015 Camry XLE and it's been fantastic, I would probably avoid the 2018 Camry since they were not the best with their transmissions and I have seen complaints and failures of the early 8 speed autos.
camry as a primary
corolla makes a fine runabout
