I just bought a 2006 Ford Escape (Fwd 3.0l V6). I want to install a gps, but I don't really like the aftermarket systems. I'm wondering if the NAV/stereo unit for the hybrid model would be compatible with my vehicle?

Go to the Escape forums and see if it's possible and what's involved. The forums for specific vehicles are a good source of information because it's peeps that have those same cars and have done and shared the info. If it is possible I'd bet someone in the forums has a how to write-up with pics
