The following vehicle collided with a tree, resulting in significant damage to the left side.
Additionally here is a video for more context.
The impact has left the driver’s side door and fender severely dented. While the engine and other vital components appear to be intact, the bodywork and some mechanical elements will require attention.
We have gone to local mechanics however, given that a total loss is not an option, we are reaching out to explore other possibilities of repair. What is the likelihood of getting a repair estimate for the necessary fixes, along with an approximate timeline for completion?
I greatly appreciate your expertise and assistance in this matter.
Thank you for your prompt attention to this inquiry.
Scotty does not do body repair, and collision estimation.
Additionally, you didn't provide any information that is required for assessment.
I can see there is severe damage to the vehicle structure. The safety is badly compromised, and unless it's new, restoration will easily exceed the vehicle value.
To me it looks like a total loss.
If you would like to try contacting Scotty directly there are instructions in the FAQ. However to my knowledge he has not been involved in collision and body work, is not equipped for it, and in any event at 70 years old is no longer doing heavy repair work.
