I have 2007 Honda Civic and sat for 6 months in garage. Today I was going to start the car and turn the key. No lights and nothing happens. I used my jump starter to jump start the car but didn’t work.
what should I do?
What type of jump starter do you have? When the battery is so weak if the jumpstarter is not strong enough it will not get the battery charged enough. Make sure all your wires are good and your connections are tight and clean aswell.
Try another good battery.
If your battery sat long enough to develop a dead cell, no amount of jumping will help. A dead cell is when debris from the interaction between the lead and the sulfuric acid accumulates in the bottom of the battery and contacts two plates, thus shorting the battery out.
Do I need to replace battery?
Try replacing the battery.
I used GooLoo 800A battery starter.
If it still doesn’t crank even after you instal a new/good battery, check here -
