Car failing after changing the radiator fan relay

I have a 2002 Jeep Liberty Limited with a 6-cylinder engine. I recently replaced the radiator fan relay along with the wiring, but now the car won’t start. If I jumpstart it, all the electrical components (lights, blinkers, etc.) work, but when I turn the key to start the engine, nothing happens—there’s no power going to the engine at all. I’ve checked the alternator, and it’s good. What could be causing this issue?

remove the wiring you added and see if the electrical problem goes away

I would go back and double check your work. If not it sounds like you have an electrical issue, so check your fuses to see if any are blown.

Load test your battery.

I’ve checked the alternator, and it’s good.

Did a load test confirm this finding?

@fishingandcarsenthusiast123 yes a load test confirmed the alternator is good. I didn’t change the relay a mechanic did and now he is saying my whole engine is done. I don’t know how this would be possible if my car was running fine before changing the relay

I didn’t change the relay a mechanic did and now he is saying my whole engine is done.

He just doesn't want to bother troubleshooting a 23-year-old Jeep Liberty that's already beyond its expected service life.

Have you tested the starter by hot-wiring the solenoid? Tested those decades-old battery cables for voltage drop?

@chucktobias tried it and still doesn’t crank or is there power to the engine.
What’s weird is that the ASD feed fuse, injectors fuse, and starter relay fuse have all been replaced, but when I test them with a test light, it doesn’t light up—almost like they’re bad, even though they aren’t. Should I just give up and have a mechanic diagnosis is?

If the starter will not crank when hot-wired then the starter is bad unless of course the battery is dead or battery cables/connectors are bad.
