car idle at 14.8 when i push the gas a bit drops at 14.6 14.7
whys that.?

The ideal ratio is the same as atmospheric pressure, 14.7:1, but minute changes in atmospheric pressure will change the ratio. If you drive to an altitude of 5000 feet, your computer will lean out the fuel mixture to compensate for the lesser amount of oxygen at the higher altitude.
