Hey Scotty,
I have a 2006 Audi A4 1.6l Petrol and every time I let off the accelerator (mostly in lower gears) the car jerks or reduces speed quickly. I tried to let off the accelerator as smoothly as possible but it still happens. I usually haven't even fully let off the accelerator and it jerks. I cleaned the throttle body and it didn't help. I serviced the car fully, all filters and oil and everything. The higher I go up the gears the less this jerking happens and usually 3rd, 4th gear you can barely feel it. Also I noticed that in second gear if I am going really slow and then I let go then it doesn't jerk. But if I speed up and go up to a faster speed in 2nd gear and then let go of the gas it does jerk. It's definitely not the engine mounts. It almost feels like extremely harsh engine braking for that jerking moment.
Let me know if I can do anything to fix this, thanks Scotty. ❤
This is what I found check these things hope this helps

@jacksonishere
I've looked at that specific page but it's not jerking while accelerating, it's jerking mainly when letting off the gas.
Seems to me the transmission is acting up.
go to a professional mechanic and ask him t check it for you.
