Hello Scotty, just watched some of your videos trying to find an answer to my problem and i wanted to try asking you. I recently bought (from a dealer) a 2017 dodge ram 1500 5.7 hemi v8 with 49k miles on it. Being a used car i know its not going to be perfect, but i noticed when i let go of the break from a complete stop (ex red light) sometimes i feel a thump or jerk, like a slipping movement. There is no lights on and nothing came up on the scanner. I took it to this guy i know who works for dodge and said it wasnt the motor mounts. He drove it and felt the thump. He said it something alot of trucks do and have to get used to. It only does it when i start moving after a complete stop and not all the time. After that, everyhting feels nicely and smooth, shifting feels good too.
Check the driveshaft slip joint, it may need to be lubed. Also check universal joints for looseness.
