2006 nissan sentra 1.8l 55k miles
i was driving 65mph on the highway and had some shaking. i had my alignment done when i bought new tires about 2 months ago but i had the transmission fluid and filter changed recently and it seems like the alignment is off a little bit since then. is it possible for a lift to throw off the alignment? also, i jacked the front end up and moved the tires left and right and i have a very little bit of play. should there be any play at all or should the tires be firmly in place when jacked? i just dont want to replace something i dont have to if a new alignment could fix the problem. thanks in advance i appreciate everything you do for diy mechanics.

Made by Shandong Linglong Tire Company in China - not exactly one of the leading tire brands. You might want to try rotating the tires front to back and see if the problem travels with the new tires.
the LingLongs are back! 😆
I bet you can’t say ‘Shandong LingLong’ 6 times really fast.
What kind of tires are they? (Cheap Chinese tires are notorious for problems.)

i forgot to mention that the tread looks even but ive only had them for a few months
ill try that out thanks. is that little bit of play negligable when i shake the tires left and right or is that a sign of wearing ball joint or something? if i had to guess i would say its about a 1/4 inch of movement when i shake it left and right and its firm up and down. thanks again for the help
Sounds like something is wearing, maybe tie rod ends, but can't really tell from here what's going on.
