Car smokes on startup

Hello Scotty I have a 2001 Nissan Maxima with 116,195 miles on it when I start it the car starts smoking white smoke from the front of the car could it because it low on coolant due to me trying to replace the catalytic converter or could it be because of old oil please help

Could be coolant related, but if you were messing with the catalytic converter your exhaust system might not be sealed properly and could be exhaust smoke.

Change the oil and drain and fill your coolant to the correct levels.
